The Introduction to Technology program should enable students to acquire knowledge, master skills and develop attitudes by;

- allowing students to explore the fields of architecture, mechanics, electricity and computer science/electronics (automated systems);

- allowing them to demystify and discover the technical object through the interpretation of data (in written or graphic form), the study of technological principles and the use of construction methods, which includes:

    handling common tools and operating certain machine tools
    using and processing raw materials
    implementing manufacturing processes

- using a logical approach to problem-solving (technological process) based on a systematic analysis and synthesis that will enable students to develop:

    the ability to reason (hypotheses, deducations, operations)
    creativity
    initiative
    the ability to integrate elements from other disciplines
    the critical judgement needed to assess objects themselves, their social, economic and environmental impact, as well as the careers and professions related to them.
