This measure is that of X2: (P1-25)2 /25 + (P2-25)2 /25 +(P3-25)2 /25 +(P4-25)2 /25, where P1 = the % of Catholics, P2, the % of Protestants, P3, the % of other religions (others) and P4 the % of no religion (none). The range of the resulting index is 0 to 300. For greater convenience, it was divided by three to bring it back to a scale of 0 to 100.
