Ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport Prize (MELS)
The Ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport (MELS) awards two cash prizes of $5000 to regional winners enrolled in vocational or technical training.
Among other factors, the candidates will be assessed on the basis of their personal or occupational commitment to promoting traditionally male-dominated careers to women.
REQUIREMENTS
Women do not have to be regional prize winners to apply for these prizes.
The candidate’s portfolio must include her letter of introduction and her answers to the following questions :
- Do you think you can play a role in encouraging women to enter traditionally male-dominated occupations? Describe the means you use (or would use) to achieve this.
