Mandates of the Ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport

The Ministère's main activity with regard to the certification of college studies is to award the Diploma of College Studies (DCS) to students who have met all the requirements of a program leading to the DCS. The Ministère only awards a DCS on the recommendation of the college in which a student is enrolled.

In addition to issuing the DCS, the Ministère maintains and updates a computerized registry of the diplomas it has awarded, issues duplicates of diplomas, certifies documents, etc. A list of the services it provides to citizens and businesses is available. For some services, there are secure electronic forms to complete on line.
